Chris Thalgott

My abstract art is inspired by expressionism, cubism, and the design theories of the Bauhaus. I pursue a sense of dynamic movement or tension in the image, with contrasts of color, form, and texture combined with fluid shapes and rhythmic color effects. All of this is intended to express humanity's interconnectedness and individual transformation. My expression is intuitive and unencumbered by representation, allowing the viewer to personally interpret the artwork's meaning, energy, and emotion. I accept commissions, and select pieces are available for purchase as original works or premium Giclée prints on fine art paper.
